Strawberry Galette : spring flavours releasing and so easy to make !

Beautiful spring brings beautiful and healthy fruits! Loaded with vitamins, they are so perfect to enjoy in salads, smoothies, cakes, galettes, swiss rolls or muffins. Strawberry Galette is one of the most inviting desserts we enjoy, so simple to make with store bought pie pastry.
Of, course, it can be made with all other kinds of fruits; it really depends on which is your favourite. What is important to do is either to lay some corn starch combined with sugar on the pastry, once rolled out, before you arrange the fruits all over or toss the fruits with the corn starch mixture; especially recommended for the fruits with high percentage of water (peaches, plums, grapes, apricots, pears, pineapple, redcurrants, to name a few ):

I cannot promise you have tidy galette doing it that way since the fruits are so juicy, so tasty and so messy but, as long as you have low sugar, fresh fruits, quickly done galette, with some ice cream aside, who really cares ? πŸ™‚
