The Best Turkey Nachos: sheet pan nacho recipe, loaded with red beans, ground turkey, Cheddar cheese, garnished with pico de gallo, avocado and sour cream. Any chicken, beef or leftover turkey are great to use also!
European Football Championship started on 11th of June 2021. Watching the games on TV made me understand why nachos are so admired recipe.
Let me give you an example: my country game started at 06:00 p.m. As soon as I arrived from work, I turned the TV on to listen to the introduction while in the kitchen, preparing our turkey week dinner. Since The Best Turkey Nachos take 15 minutes to prepare, timing was just perfect to do the work necessary, place the pan onto the rack and open a beer.
Seven minutes later, our turkey nacho bake was done. Tasty, simple, the best!
Needless to say, during the football festival that lasts for 30 days, we enjoyed nacho bake with a twist few times more and, hoping our guys will make it until the finals, there are some more version except this turkey nachos to try!

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 ½ cup turkey meat, ground, firmly packed
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup water
- 2 Tbsp Taco seasoning, store bought
- 1 1/3 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups red beans, pre boiled ( black beans are also great )
- Sweet corn, pre boiled, to taste
- 1 ½ cups Chilli style tortilla chips
- Avocado slices to taste
- Sour cream to taste
- Pico de gallo to taste
Instructions

In a skillet over medium heat, combine vegetable oil, salt, ground turkey meat, water and taco seasoning. Using fork, break the meat into crumbles. It should take eight minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 F.

Cover sheet pan dish with parchment paper and arrange tortilla chips on the baking paper, overlapping them slightly.

Sprinkle half of grated cheese over tortillas. Top with meat, red beans and sweet corn.

Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 -7 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.

Take the nachos out, garnish with pico de gallo , sour cream and avocado slices.

Serve immediately.
