Hot and Spicy Beer Snack Mix is simple homemade snack mix to have with beer and fireworks!
The best fact about hot and spicy beer nuts is that you have it on your table in 25 minutes only.
It has nothing to do with store bought party mix combined together and sprinkled with some spicy chili powder and ground black pepper for game day.
This is a mixture of four healthy and nutritious nuts (walnuts, almonds, peanuts and pepitas). Spicy beer syrup added, simply and easily done, baked, cooled and served to enjoy at any party.
So when you return from supermarket and need to cool those bottles of beer just a bit more, you have exactly the time required to make this spicy, smokey, hot and so delicious, best beer snack. It is just to be ready once the beer bottles get sweaty when taken out of the fridge.

Hot and Spicy Beer Snack Mix
Hot and Spicy Beer Snack Mix is simple homemade snack mix to have with beer and fireworks!
Ingredients
- Snack Ingredients:
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup peanuts, dry roasted
- ½ cup pepitas
- Syrup ingredients:
- ½ cup Demerara sugar
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ tsp chayenne powder
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 3 Tbsp white beer
Instructions

Combine all the syrup ingredients in a small pot and warm on low heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Mix during the process, using spatula or spoon. It should take two minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 F.

Cover sheet pan dish with baking paper and leave aside.

In medium sized bowl, combine walnuts, almonds, pepitas and syrup and throw it on the baking paper.

Bake for ten minutes and take out to combine so the remaining syrup is nicely divided all over the nuts.

Bake for another five minutes.

Take out from the oven, cool completely and serve with beer.
