Physalis Liqueur from Scratch is simple,fruity and tasty homemade liqueur you can enjoy with fruit salad, ice cream,fish, punch, or mulled wine. Easy to make under 20 minutes!
Once you unwrapped and cleaned physalis berries you combine them with brown sugar. place them to the bottom of your glass jar.
Combine vodka and white wine in another dish and pour over the fruits and sugar.
Add 3 anise stars and tightly close the bottle.
Gently shake the bottle every other day and store your liqueur recipe at room temperature for 4 weeks before use.
Note:
Once ready to consume, store your batch in cool and dark place ( refrigerator is the best. That way you can enjoy it for 3 years).
