Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup chickpea, precooked
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice ( 2 small lemons )
  • 5 Tbsp tahini paste
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp greek yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Berbere spices mix
  • Butter for the dish and to garnish the top before baking
  • 2 Tbsp pine nuts and ½ tsp Berbere spices mix to sprinkle before baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 392 F / 200 C.

  2. Butter 5 x 6 x 2 inches dish and leave aside.

  3. Combine chickpea, garlic, lemon juice, tahini paste, olive oil, yogurt, salt and spices to get smooth paste.

  4. Spoon the paste into the baking dish, even the top of it, sprinkle with pine nuts and spices and garnish with some butter cuts and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Serve immediately.
