Raspberry Agar Jam

Raspberry Agar Jam is easy and healthy fruit jam recipe with chopped lemon and agar agar powder.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups raspberries
  • 1 lemon, finely chopped
  • 2 cups sugar
  • I tsp agar

Instructions

  1. In a pot, on medium heat, cook raspberries and lemon for 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  2. Add sugar and cook for 30 minutes more.
  3. Turn the oven to 200 C/ 392 F and put clean dry glass jars in to get hot.

  4. Add agar powder to jam and cook for additional 5 minutes.

  5. Remove the pot from the heat and fill hot glass jars.

  6. Turn the oven off, cover the jars and return them into the oven.

  7. Leave in the oven to cool completely.
