Pandoro French Toast

Pandoro French Toast is delicious creamy spongy breakfast loaded with sweet bread, jam and cream cheese. Perfect holidays breakfast to make with pandoro leftovers !

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Pandoro cake
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Beat egg and milk in shallow dish using fork.

  2. Slice Pandoro bread vertically to get 2 pandoro slices 2/3 inch thick.

  3. Heat up your skillet on medium heat and add a teaspoon of butter.

  4. Dip slices of Pandoro in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.

  5. Cook bread slices in a pan, until lightly brown on both sides. It should take 3 – 4 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately with your favourite jam, Mascarpone, fruits or maple syrup.
