Ingredients

  • 8 half shell sea scallops
  • Pinch of salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove,finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp parmesan
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley leaves to garnish before serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / 392 F.

  2. In a small bowl combine breadcrumbs and parmesan. Leave aside.

  3. Clean and wash half shell scallops before cooking. Just leave white meat inside the shell. Remove digestive gland and gonad as well. You may use a small brush to help removing the sand.

  4. After washing, wipe the shells with paper towel to remove possible water excess.

  5. Place the shells on baking tray.

  6. Top the scallops with garlic, salt, and ground black pepper to taste.

  7. Divide parmesan mixture to cover every scallop and sprinkle with olive oil.
