In small bowl, combine, grated apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Leave aside for 10 minutes.
Put the mixture into cheesecloth or tea towel and gently squeeze the juice out. After squeezing, you get 1 ½ cup of apples ready to continue the process.
Add egg, flour and baking powder to apples and combine using spatula.
Pour oil into the skillet and warm the oil.
Put one tablespoon of mixture into your hand and form gnocchi. All together you get nine of them.
Place on warm oil and cook to get lightly brown on all sides. It takes 7 – 9 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and some sour cream aside.
