Baked Italian Sausage

Baked Italian SausageĀ  is the best Italian sausage bake you can think of ! Loaded with vegetables of your choice, spicy or sweet sausages, potatoes or pasta, it makes an easy oven baked dinner for busy weekday ! The whole family enjoys the flavours of this simple recipe. Davvero !

  • 4 spicy Italian sausages ( 330 grams )
  • 2 potatoes ( 430grams ), preboiled wedges
  • 1 Ā½ bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion ( 180grams )
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to garnish before serving


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 F.

  2. In medium sized bowl, sprinkle smoked paprika and salt over preboiled potato wedges. Gently combine.

  3. Put 2 Tbsp of olive oil into the baking dish and arrange sausages, potatoes, bell peppers and onions.

  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until sausages are golden brown on the top.

  5. Sprinkle with ground black pepper and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Note : to have preboiled wedges, boil them in medium sized pot, on medium heat for 7 minutes.
