  • Dough ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/3 stick unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp warm milk
  • Yogurt filling ingredients:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 6 Tbsp sour cream
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract


  2. On a table, knead a dough using all the ingredients. Let it rest while you butter the baking dish and put the baking paper into it.
  3. Cut the dough to have two halves.
  4. Flour the table and the rolling pin. Roll one half to suit the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Transfer the dough into a baking dish.
  6. Preheat the oven to reach 374 F /190 C.
  7. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  8. Add the sugar and gently mix in the yogurt, sour cream, flour and vanilla extract.
  9. Pour the mixture into the baking dish
  10. Roll the second half of the dough and cover the yogurt filling.
  11. Use a fork to stab the top of the cake gently, then put it into the oven.
  12. Bake for 30 minutes.
  13. Turn the oven off and leave the cake in there for 10 more minutes so the filling gets firm.
  14. Cool before cutting the bars.
