This one is classic banana bread with a twist: sour cream and chocolate chips both make it brilliant banana bread. It is moist, soft and it could easily be served as a cake if you serve it with some whipped cream.

Brilliant Banana Bread
Brilliant Banana Bread enriched with chocolate chips is an easy banana loaf recipe. Sour cream in the batter adds creamy texture and extra moisture!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 2/3 Tbsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 ripe bananas,mashed ( 1 ½ cup )
- 4 Tbsp sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 5 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted + extra for the pan
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup bitter chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 175 C / 347 F.

Insert baking parchment into 9 inch bread pan and butter it.

In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

In separate bowl,whisk together mashed bananas, sour cream, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract.Add dry ingredients and beat until combined well.

Fold in chocolate chips and pour banana bread batter into the loaf tin.

Bake this easy banana loaf for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Once you turn off the oven, leave the bread inside for extra 2 minutes.

Take the bread out to cool on wire rack before serving.
