How to make Nutella French Toast Rolls with homemade Nutella?

After you toast hazelnuts, their skin falls of easily. You rub any leftovers and leave to cool. The rest of the work is up to your food processor. It grinds hazelnuts with sugar, cocoa powder, coconut oil, salt, and vanilla extract until you get smooth creamy texture.

As for French Toast, it is the best if you cut off the crust away from your sandwich bread. Then you flatten each slice with your rolling pin and spread one teaspoon of Nutella over the slice. Roll it and dip into egg mixture. Fry using butter or coconut oil until golden brown all over. While still hot, roll them in cinnamon sugar and enjoy!

Their taste is churros alike and we love them very, very much!

Can you use stale bread for French toast?

From our experience, stale bread is the best for French toast since it absorbs more egg mixture and once cooked, it’s golden brown on both sides and soft and tender inside.

The best example for this suggestion is our Pandoro French Toast  since it is the best way to use Pandoro from Scratch leftovers.

Of course, you can use any stale bread to make your portion of French Toast. The only way you cannot use them is making French toast rolls since slices of stale bread break easily.

But, there’s always one great way to use it, be it every day bread of beautiful Panettone from Scratch . Here you can find your option to have budget friendly festive breakfast!

Until we discovered toast rolls, we preferred Monte Cristo sandwiches to have with a glass of yogurt for breakfast. Usually, they were loaded with mozzarella and ham or, if we both were into vegetables, I made spinach and cheese combination. Since we both enjoy cinnamon sugar toast roll snacks and breakfasts, our preferences have changed. Of course!
