Mediterranean Herbs Pinwheel Rolls
Yum
Mediterranean Herbs Pinwheel Rolls : rich with Mediterranean flavours and quickly done.
What we love the most about Mediterranean Herbs Pinwheel Rolls is they could be served with creamy soup I prepare for lunch or dinner or as an appetizer or afternoon snack.
One batch is usually gone in one day since we both tend to nibble this kind of food during week end afternoons. It is easy to make and bake them since I use store bought pizza dough and combine the herbs.
Combining herbs is my job since my son gets totally of the hook if I suggest he do this step.
You could easily discover odd combinations of curry, edible flowers, cocoa, tarragon and sesame oil, for example.
He tends to produce this kind of stuff since he was really a small boy. The first time I discovered his „talent“ was once I dropped into the bathroom and found him „creating“ cosmetics using my face creams, liquid soap and perfumes.
He was writing down the steps and quantities he used and I still keep that notebook as a souvenir in the box with his first shoes…
So, now you understand why I am so very careful when we step into the herbs and spices zone.
This Mediterranean herbs mix includes equal measure of dry herbs : 1 tsp of basil, rosemary, oregano, summer savory, thyme, sage and parsley.
I added finely chopped garlic but you can prepare the rolls without it, of course.
