Ingredients

  • Ingredients for truffles :
  • 1 cup chestnut paste ( approx. 250 grams )
  • 1 Tbsp dark rum
  • 1 Tbsp icing sugar
  • Ingredients for chocolate ganache:
  • ½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips ( 100 grams )
  • 1 Tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Combine chestnut paste, dark rum and icing sugar in a medium sized bowl, using tablespoon. You may also do it in food processor.

  2. Prepare shallow plate to place truffles once rolled.

  3. Grab 2 tsp of chestnut mixture and form a ball between your palms. Place each ball on the plate and leave to rest in the fridge for two hours or overnight.

  4. Melt chocolate chips and water, stirring constantly to get thick chocolate mixture.

  5. Dip each chestnut bowl into the chocolate and leave to cool.

  6. Keep refrigerated before serving.
