Homemade Peach Jam Recipe : keeper for sandwich cookies to be made for holidays !

  • 4 cups washed purple peaches, cored, chopped
  • 1 cup + 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon acid
  • 2 Tbsp sugar + 2 Tbsp pectin


  1. Combine 2 Tbsp sugar and 2 Tbsp pectin in a mug and leave aside.

  2. In medium sized pot, on medium heat, boil purple peaches, sugar and lemon acid for ten minutes.

  3. Add pectin and sugar mixture and boil, stirring constantly for four minutes.

  4. Take away from the heat and store in clean and dry glass jars.
