Ingredients

  • 7 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 cup Dulce de Leche

Instructions

  1. Combine warm butter and sugar in a small pot to dissolve on low heat.

  2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt)
  3. Add butter and sugar mixture, egg, heavy cream, vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. When cooled, add chocolate chips and form a dough, using your hands.

  5. Leave in the fridge for 2 or 3 hours.
  6. Cover the brownie pan ( 7 x 7 inches ) with baking paper.

  7. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 F.
  8. Press half of the cookie dough into the brownie pan.

  9. Cover it with Dulce the Leche.
  10. Roll the other half of the dough and cut the flowers out to cover Dulce de Leche.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes.
  12. Once cooled, garnish with chocolate ganache if desired.
