Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 ½ tsp bitter cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil + 1 Tbsp to oil the baking paper
  • 4 Tbsp milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In the medium sized bowl, mix all the ingredients. I do it using hands.
  2. Leave the pastry to rest for 30 minutes if enough time.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 F.
  4. Cover the flat baking dish with baking paper.
  5. Oil the paper and roll the pastry on the paper to get 10 x 10 inches dimensions.
  6. Oil the rolling pin also, to make the rolling easier.
  7. Bake the pastry for 15 minutes.
  8. Take the pastry out and cut the slices when still warm.
