Overnight Artisan Bread
Yumnot Overnight Artisan Bread, easy to make at home, soft inside, crunchy outside, releasing comforting flavours while baking, tasty and irresistible, once sliced.
The simpliest Overnight Artisan Bread version ever. No special skills are required so it is also great one to start with if you are not skilled in bread making / baking but ready to start.
Girls at work shared this recipe with everyone since one of them has found the recipe on Internet, made it and it was fabolous.

So, here we have another tasty homemade comfort food to make as side dish; also, if you are of βour kindβ, you can slice the bread for any savoury or sweet spread. Our favourite is thin layer of unsalted butter and Strawberry jam on the top.
The bread remains fresh for four days; at least we had it that long before it was all gone.
If you like adding edible seeds into the batter or garnish the top of bread , you may do so. Sort and quantities are optional.

Overnight Artisan Bread, easy to make at home, soft inside, crunchy outside, releasing comforting flavours while baking, tasty and irresistible, once sliced.
Ingredients
- 5 cups cake flour
- 2 cups + 4 Tbsp warm water
- 2 tsp salt
- Β½ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 Tbsp corn flour
Instructions

In medium sized bowl, combine cake flour, yeast, salt and water. Cover with foil and leave to rest overnight.

Butter your cast iron casserole dish ( Γ 9 inches ) on the bottom and the sides and sprinkle corn flour around the bottom and the sides as well.

Pour the batter into it and leave aside for one hour.

Turn the oven to 230 C / 446 F. Put the casserole dish into the oven immediately.

Bake covered for 40 minutes.

Take the cover off and bake for additional 10 minutes.

Once done, take the bread out, put it on the rack and leave to cool.
