Homemade Chocolate Recipe
Yum
Homemade Chocolate Recipe is milk chocolate, wartime version, with cocoa powder, and milk powder for the best results! Is is so easy to make your own chocolate version at home!
At the end of World War II, Americans were sending us packages of powdered eggs and milk by dropping the boxes from plains. All the packages had parachutes attached so the goods were not damaged but safely landed.
I remember my grandmother telling the stories about those days but I have forgotten what other supplies were included in those boxes.
To make the best use of everything after so many difficult days, they made underwear tailoring parachutes so every single thing was used to its maximum.
Since children were craving everything, someone got an idea to make chocolate out of the ingredients at hand and this homemade milk chocolate is my version of what they used to make.
It was on my „to do list“ for winter holidays but since we all are making stocks to be prepared for isolation ( some of us experiencing it already ) I thought it may just be the right time to publish this simple, no bake chocolate since all the ingredients are at hand. Hopefully.
