How to make moist honey cake loaf?
It is so easy to make it! You start with dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and sugar) and combine them in one medium sized bowl. In another bowl, you combine wet ingredients (eggs, vegetable oil, honey, vanilla extract, and pear puree). After you fold them together with spatula you add chocolate chips and pour it into prepared loaf pan and let the baking begin.
Can I make this loaf recipe in cake pan?
If you do so, your cake may become dry since itโs much flatter. Bundt pan is much better solution, but you may have to adjust your baking time. Once you insert toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean, your bundt is done.
What is the difference between loaf and bread?
The main difference between bread and loaf is that bread is baked dough. On the other hand, the loaf is the entire set of bread, meat, and other such meals. Moreover, the word bread is a noun. How long does this honey cake loaf remain fresh?
At room temperature, it is fresh and safe to eat for three days. Also, it is our three days supply so we have two morning breads a week.
If you would like to store a loaf or leftover slices in your freezer, wrap them tightly and keep up to three months.

Honey Cake Loaf
Honey Cake Loaf is delicious moist honey cake recipe baked in loaf pan. Low in sugar, enriched with honey, semi-sweet chocolate chips and pear puree. Perfect for holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 small eggs ( or 1 large ) + pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 7 Tbsp pear puree ( 1 medium sized pear, cored )
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 cup + 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 3 Tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
- extra honey to sprinkle over the slices, optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 C / 356 F.

Lightly spray the loaf pan ( 5 cups volume, 3 x 7 inches ) and leave aside.

In medium sized bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

In another medium sized bowl, combine eggs, oil, vanilla extract, honey and pear pure.

Mix wet ingredients slowly adding dry ones to get smooth batter.

Add chocolate chips and combine with spatula.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 43 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

You may sprinkle some honey over the slices, once you serve them.
