Ultimate Oreo Limoncello Vanilla Icebox Cake : refreshing and bursting with balanced flavours !
This quantity makes a dessert for two. The dish volume is two cups and Ultimate Oreo Limoncello Vanilla Icebox Cake is so easy and quickly done that I decided to make one small batch combining different tastes every now and then. The reason to this are extreme heats and our eagerness to explore new combinations matching cookies with pudding but also savoury creams with vegetables.
So, we enjoy the ride so far hoping to have some fun after all. Long term prognosis is not promising any rest from the heats but there is a festival coming to town quite soon so we are negotiating which concerts to attend. „Free enry“ ones already noted, of course.
As about this no bake tasty Limoncello included treat, bellow you see the photo showing an empty icebox corner. I tasted three teaspoons after it rested in the fridge, overnight.
If you look at the photos carefully, you could notice how the bottle of Limoncello and icebox are dewy since taken out of a fridge and brought to the room temperature.
I should have though this might happen but let’s think of it as another lesson on my blog journey …
Ultimate Oreo Limoncello Vanilla Icebox Cake
- 12 Oreo cookies, crushed + 2 more to garnish
- 1 cup vanilla pudding or vegan substitute
- 2 Tbsp Limoncello
- Whipped cream to taste or vegan substitute
Put 12 Oreo cookies in small plastic bag and crush them using fingers.
Place half of them on a bottom of a dish.
Sprinkle Oreos with 1 Tbsp Limoncello.
Cover with ½ cup vanilla pudding or vegan substitute
Repeat the steps 2. – 4.
Crush 2 Oreos in plastic bag for garnishing.
Garnish with whipped cream or vegan substitute and 2 crushed Oreos.
Leave to cool and serve.
