Using powdered milk as basic ingredient, you get peanut butter alike texture in several minutes.
It ennobles everything and is so simple to make in your kitchen blender.
Before you see yourself how easy it is to make, let me add some more information about uses of powdered milk, condensed milk and many more.
Powdered milk is pantry staple together with rice, flour, pasta, canned beans, grains, oil and seasonings, jams and pickles.
There are many frugal dishes you can make with powdered milk in no time and here are some of them:
- Evaporated milk ( must for Tres Leches Cake )
- Whipped topping ( perfect for pies )
- Sweetened condensed milk ( same ingredients as for this Condensed Milk Spread.

- Hot cocoa drink ( combine bitter cocoa powder, powdered milk and boiling water. Mix and enjoy ! )
- Ricotta ( add 1 cup of water to ½ cup of powdered milk and few drops of fresh lemon juice; stir on medium heat, remove from the stove top, pour the mixture through cheese cloth to remove excess water and blend the curds to get creamy texture ).

If you decide to make homemade condensed milk recipe, let me say a few words about it’s purpose:
The best is to compare it with regular milk. Of course, it can be used to make all sorts of cakes, soups, candies, sauces, brownies, fruit dips and toppings.
To thicken condensed milk, you need to boil it slowly ( with or without sugar ) for approximately 20 minutes until it thickens.
The next step is amazing Dulce de Leche !
If you continue boiling and stirring condensed milk, you get creamy, beautiful spread.

Condensed Milk Spread
Condensed Milk Spread is homemade, thick, milk spread,super easy to prepare and is the most versatile homemade desserts’ ingredient ever; even more: it can be a dessert by itself. Whitechocoliscious !
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 cups powdered milk
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 Tbsp butter, unsalted
- roasted almonds to taste
In a kitchen blender, mix all the ingredients until you get nice, thick, smooth mixture.
With a tablespoon, fill the glass jar. Store in the fridge.
Garnish with roasted almond to taste.
